About

This blog is to give voice to Emerging Professionals and discuss the many issues we face. There are plenty of topics in this economic climate.  From surviving the job market to achieving licensure, from understanding relevant politics to continuing education; how is it possible to even stay sane!?!  One way is to know you’re not alone.  The authors of this blog represent the three types of Emerging Professional: the student, the intern, and the newly licensed architect.  Another way to stay cool and collected is to have a resource for solutions.  This blog intends to be constructive with healthy discussions and sharing of content.

By being constructive we can do what architects do best: design, revise and build…all in optimistic hope for a better tomorrow.

And for a little bit of legal… The statements expressed in this blog reflect the participants’ own views and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of the American Institute of Architects.
